a resuscitation bed
The resuscitation bed, Multicare, provides a reliable basis for the management of most problems within the resuscitation care, including critical situations where even seconds count in the process of life saving.
The bed offers e.g. lateral tilting, accurate integrated scale system, and is accommodating to X-ray scanning both with a classical X-ray unit and with a C-arm.
All the positions are achieved by means of electric motors.
The structure of the bed accommodates the need for easy and thorough everyday cleaning.

Lateral tilting helps to prevent complications in patients in a critical condition, and actively supports the treatment. Lateral tilting represents a preventive feature as far as decubitus ulcers, atelectasis, pneumonia, and circulatory problems are concerned. |

X-ray scanning of patients in bed reduces the inconsiderate manual handling with the patient to a maximum extent. X-raying of patients whilst lying in bed solves the problems of everyday scanning by reducing the physical burden placed on the staff and respecting the patient’s health state. |

Accurate weighing system eliminates problems associated with the relocation of the bed into roll-on scales, and enables the staff to monitor the patient’s bodyweight constantly, and with an adequate accuracy and comfort. |
